Job Description
- As a QA Automation Engineer, your role will involve reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables. You will be responsible for identifying test requirements from specifications, mapping test case requirements, and designing a test coverage plan. Your tasks will include writing, documenting, and maintaining automated testing solutions. Additionally, you will execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases, and report test results. It will be your responsibility to hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. You must also identify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate them immediately to management. Your role will also involve ensuring that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Furthermore, you will be required to isolate, replicate, and report defects, as well as verify defect fixes. Key Responsibilities: - Review functional and design specifications - Identify test requirements and design test coverage plan - Write, document, and maintain automated testing solutions - Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases - Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews - Identify and escalate potential quality issues - Ensure validated deliverables meet specifications - Isolate, replicate, and report defects, and verify fixes Qualifications Required: - Hands-on QA automation testing experience in web/API/Performance, following Agile methodologies - Ability to research, document, and present solutions, and implement testing framework - Proficient in load/performance testing with JMeter - Proficient in writing automated test scripts for functional testing using Selenium frameworks - Experience in functional testing, API testing, performance testing - Excellent knowledge of Testng framework - Writing clear, concise test plans/cases - Liaising with development, project management, and customer support Please note that the job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
