Job Description
- As a Functional Testing & Consulting Support professional at our company, you will play a crucial role in learning a domain intense product to perform functional testing for Manhattan Customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Embracing Functional and Manual Testing for automation purposes - Demonstrating proficiency in various testing methodologies - Having a basic knowledge of programming - Working in a dynamic environment across multiple GEOs - Possessing a strong analytical mindset to analyze critical functional issues in enterprise applications Prior exposure to supply chain management enterprise applications will be advantageous for this role. You should excel in preparing scenarios, workflows, and test cases, along with a solid understanding of quality assurance in the development process. Detail-oriented, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment are essential qualities we are looking for in a candidate. To qualify for this position, you are required to hold a BE, B. Tech, or foreign equivalent degree in a related technical field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in functional Consulting, testing, or implementing software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory as you will be interacting with counterpart teams across different geos. Desired skills include experience in API testing using Postman, knowledge of Velocity script / Python, and a basic understanding of microservice architecture. Continuous learning and improvement, knowledge of SQL, familiarity with UNIX/Linux environment, and the ability to script using PERL will be advantageous. Experience in Functional and business analysis, Supply Chain, or business integrators like eCom and ERP systems will be considered a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a Growth mindset are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you should be proficient in customer-facing experiences involving designing and implementing complex solutions.
