Job Description
- As the Principal AI Engineering Manager at Microsoft Security in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, you will play a crucial role in reshaping security and empowering users with innovative solutions in the digital world. Your primary focus will be on developing agentic AI systems for security applications that revolutionize how security is delivered and experienced. You will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team with a startup-like culture, fostering agility, ownership, and rapid experimentation to drive product innovation. Your responsibilities will include driving end-to-end development of AI-powered products, from ideation to scalable deployment, in fast-paced and ambiguous settings. Additionally, you will collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to integrate cutting-edge AI into real-world scenarios. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, or agentic systems, along with a proven track record of shipping AI solutions. You should also have 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams in AI product development, preferably in startup or incubation environments. A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is required, with a preference for a PhD. Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential, as well as familiarity with agentic workflows and LLM integration.
