Job Description
- As a Test Manager at Brightly, a Siemens company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the application platforms within the Engineering department. You will lead and mentor a team of test engineers focused on web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and implementing robust test strategies - Driving automation initiatives - Overseeing performance testing efforts - Integrating CI/CD pipelines - Managing test environments in containerized and cloud-native setups Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, monitoring test execution, analyzing results, and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders. You will be expected to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and team capabilities. Additionally, you will create career development programs for the team and collaborate with senior engineers, development managers, product managers, and scrum-masters in an agile environment. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role - Strong communication, partnership, and teamwork skills - Hands-on experience with test automation for web and mobile platforms, performance testing, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD tools - Familiarity with accessibility testing tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience with Blue/Green or Canary Deployments The culture at Brightly is centered around the values of Service, Ingenuity, Integrity, and Togetherness.
