Looking for a BDM (Business Development Manager) to join our dynamic team.
Profile: Male candidate
Experience: Min : 7-8 years in Sales
Industry Preference: Lighting & Poles industry
Location: Chandigarh
We are seeking a result-oriented professional with proven expertise in client acquisition, business growth, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive growth and expand market presence.
2. Identify new business opportunities in target industries and geographies.
3. Manage and nurture key accounts to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
4. Lead negotiations, close high-value deals, and ensure timely follow-ups.
5. Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay updated with trends, competitors, and client needs. 6. Coordinate with internal departments (technical, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.
7. Prepare business proposals, presentations, and sales reports for management review.
8. Train and mentor junior team members, including Business Development Executives, when required.
9. Travel regularly for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
2. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Business Development, preferably in Outdoor Lighting, Iron, Steel, or related Mechanical sectors.
3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to drive results independently.
5. Sound knowledge of sales strategies, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
7. High level of commitment, professionalism, and willingness to travel.
