Job Description
Job Purpose: This job description outlines a role focused on Quality Control (QC) in a Greenfield project of carbon black. Role holder will help in testing carbon black feedstock (BCFS) and Oils samples for the site.
KRA -
- Conduct comprehensive quality testing of CBFS & Oils and Carbon Black in accordance with plant norms. This includes performing routine analyses to ensure compliance with established standards and identifying any deviations. Utilize advanced testing equipment and methodologies to obtain accurate results. Document and report findings meticulously, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Collaborate with other departments to address any quality issues promptly. Continuously monitor and improve testing procedures to enhance overall quality control within the plant.

- Document and report findings meticulously, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Collaborate with other departments to address any quality issues promptly. Continuously monitor and improve testing procedures to enhance overall quality control within the plant.
- Perform lab work including equipment calibration and record-keeping, ensuring no deviations from the schedule. Meet all requirements and utilize Jishu Hozen, Kaizen suggestion scheme( KSS )to avoid failures. Additionally, focus on reducing maintenance costs while maintaining operational performance & focusing on testing performance in accordance to ISO: IEC 17025: 2017
- Monitoring the Upkeep of Lab and ensure it is up to mark by the auditors. Monitor & maintain the laboratory working environment as per testing accuracy requirement. Ensuring 5S/ Quality Circle activity in Laboratory.
- Monitoring the quality checking of In-process products and prompt information to Control room & WH.
- Ensure the availability of Tested Material for dispatching. To ensure the allocation of quality material as per Customer Spec and Contract review. To monitor the timely allocation and release loading ship for loading of material and release COA for On-time delivery.
- Documentation to fulfil compliance of Global safety standard - Hazard Communication Compliance of OHS 45001 : 2018 standard requirement Ensuring 100% use of Personal protective equipment for safe working inside lab Imparting of on job safety training. Task observation of workmen during critical job for assurance of safe working.
