Job Description

Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience Level: 6+ Years

Shifts: 24*7 Rotational shifts

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in modern cloud infrastructure, containerization, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both public cloud platforms (especially Azure) and on-premises virtualization, along with proficiency in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
On-premises private cloud deployment/operation experience
Automation using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).

Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Application hosting/management on platforms like Azure App Services, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Understanding of containerization (Docker/K8s basics).

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Integration
Connecting VMs and workloads between on-premises virtualization and public cloud.

Automation and DevOps

Automation/Scripting
PowerShell, Python, Bash scripting for repeatable administration tasks.
Use of orchestration frameworks (Ansible, Puppet/Chef, System Center).

DevOps Practices
CI/CD management for infrastructure (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.), basic Git usage.
