Software Engineer- Java + Go lang + Angular @ Optum

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently deliver development tasks with accountability and quality
• Work closely with Solution and Technical Architects to ensure reliable implementations
• Contribute across the SDLC: design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment
• Enhance existing products and build new features using modern technologies
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Help define scalable and sustainable engineering processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them effectively
• Promote design patterns and best practices across the team
• Participate in design reviews, test case reviews, and production readiness checks
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Business, Deployment, and Infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech/BE/MCA with 2+ years of experience across multiple technology layers
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Hands-on experience with any one public cloud AWS or Azure
• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular 15+ or React
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform
• Experience in product engineering and global team collaboration
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles and common security practices
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Golang
• Proven solid communication and collaboration skills in agile environments.
