Position: Laboratory Information Systems Support

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Chennai

Primary Skills: LIS, HL7

Job Summary:

The LIS Support Specialist will provide technical and functional support for Orchard Copia and related LIS systems. This role involves troubleshooting, configuration, user support, and ensuring seamless integration of LIS with other healthcare systems. The candidate should have strong experience in LIS workflows, HL7 messaging, and clinical data handling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for Copia LIS including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Manage HL7 interfaces and ensure accurate data exchange with EHRs and analysers
• Collaborate with lab and IT teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements
• Perform system validation, upgrades, and documentation
• Train end users and maintain SOPs for LIS operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards

Skills (Must Have):

• 5+ years of experience supporting LIS systems, specifically Orchard Copia
• Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU)
• Experience with browser-based LIS access and mobile support
• Troubleshooting LIS issues and user support
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and lab operations
