Job Title: Database Administrator (6+ Years Experience)

Location: [Bangalore / Hyderabad/ Chennai ]

Shift: Night Shift / Early Morning Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 5-8 years of expertise in managing and optimizing databases across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of database systems. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a night shift or very early morning shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations.
• Ensure database security, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage high-availability solutions, replication, and clustering.
• Implement and maintain AWS-based database solutions such as RDS, Aurora, or EC2-hosted databases.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and system administrators to support database needs.
• Document database processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database administration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, IAM, Backup & Security best practices).
• Proficiency in database optimization, query tuning, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions.
• Good understanding of SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift or very early morning shift to align with business requirements.
• Flexibility to handle on-call support when needed.
