Full stack Tester @ Sonata Software

Job Description

• Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to design comprehensive test plans and strategies targeting all layers of the application.
• Test Execution: Perform both manual and automated testing for UI, API, database, and integration to validate functionality, security, and performance.
• Automation & Tools: Develop and maintain automation scripts using appropriate tools to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
• Performance & Security Testing: Conduct performance/load testing and security vulnerability assessments like SQL injection, XSS, and authentication checks.
• DevOps & CI/CD Integration: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines ensuring continuous testing and rapid feedback during development cycles.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Use tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps to report, track, and manage defects systematically.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams for seamless defect resolution and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with manual and automated testing across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, Jest, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing, API testing tools, and security testing principles.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
