Job Description
Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Vue.js or Laravel Livewire and Tailwind CSS
Integrate frontend components with backend logic to create seamless user experiences
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient PHP 8.3+ code or Typescript when using Vue.js
Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and contribute to the schema design
General understanding of Redis used as a cache storage
Integrate and manage file storage using AWS S3 for media and user uploads
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance
Troubleshoot and debug existing applications
Upgrade of frameworks and used dependencies
Participate in code reviews
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
Proven experience building modern UIs with Vue.js or Laravel Livewire and Tailwind CSS
Strong grasp of modern frontend build tools (we use Vite)
Solid understanding of RDBMS and experience optimizing slow queries
Familiarity with cloud services, including practical experience with AWS S3 and AWS SES
Expertise in writing and consuming REST-APIs
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to details
Understanding of security in the context of web applications (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
