Context
This position is for the role of Domain Expert Irrigation (Digital Transformation)
for Telengana CPMS project
Missions/Main Duties
Provide subject matter expertise in irrigation engineering for digital transformation projects across agricultural and urban infrastructure Collaborate with digital teams to design and implement smart irrigation systems using IoT, GIS, SCADA, and remote sensing technologies Evaluate existing irrigation infrastructure and recommend digital upgrades to improve efficiency, monitoring, and control Support the development of digital twins and simulation models for water distribution and irrigation performance Contribute to the design of data-driven dashboards and analytics tools for real-time decision-making Ensure compliance with water regulations, sustainability goals, and digital governance standards Liaise with stakeholders including government agencies, farmers, engineers, and technology vendors Provide training and guidance to project teams on irrigation best practices and digital integration Profile/Skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering 8+ years of experience in irrigation system design, implementation, and management Strong understanding of digital technologies such as GIS, SCADA, IoT, and data analytics in water infrastructure Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or public sector projects Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation skills We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency
