Monitor the
IT Events and carry out the control actions linked to this
Take action
to solve IT incidents based on instructions, agreements and/or documented
solutions, or escalate IT incidents (including convince stakeholders to take
action based on urgency or impact)
Register IT
incidents and (research) actions already taken; actively monitor SLEs
Proactively
monitor the workload automation environment (batch) and take the appropriate
action(s) in case of detected problems and/or delays
Carry out
specifically assigned ICT service requests - on demand and in accordance with
instructions - in the context of IT infrastructure and workload
automation" and in accordance with instructions and procedures
Invest in personal
and technical development, keeping knowledge up-to-date by following training
and coaching
Details:
Handle
IT Infra events (Basic) based on their priority and trigger relevant actions by
following the instruction text/KBs.
Handle
Batch events (Basic) and batch cancels (e.g. rerun, force ok, put on hold etc.)
as requested by the end users.
Handle
incidents (Create/modify/escalate/close) as relevant.
Perform
the SYST Batch Ombuds tasks Independently after 1 month of hands-on experience.
Perform
Operational tasks (as Ombuds) of Prod environment under guidance.
Execute
Standard (Basic) changes independently by following the procedure/KBs after 1
month of hands-on experience.
Identify
and involve relevant stakeholders in case of events arising out of (un)planned
interventions (e.g. IT changes, outages & etc.)
Flag/request
to create a KB as and when necessary.
Prepare
and send a daily Operations Report/Work transfer template with clear, relevant
information along with the actions triggered.
Ensure
that the Batch Planning AJF (Active Job File) is as up to date during the shift
handover process.
Ensure
the deliverables meet expected Quality, Efficiency and Effectiveness (QEE).
Mandatory Requirements:
1-3
Years of Experience in IT operations.
Using
Monitoring tools BMC Control-M, Dynatrace, Tivoli TWS, CA7 or Monitoring
experience.
Excellent
communication and coordination skills.
Strong
interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Demonstrated
eagerness to learn and adapt.
Willingness
to work in 24x7 shifts.
Proven
ability to work effectively in a team environment.
