Senior Software Engineer I @ Optum

Job Description

• Analyze business requirements to develop database solutions for Health Care and Reporting systems Able to conduct Scrum ceremonies
• Walk-through the technical design document with Business/SME/QA group and support team
• Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). • B.E or MCA or B. Tech or MTECH or MS Graduation
• 7+ years of experience in Mainframe apps
• Primary Skillset - Mainframes (COBOL , JCL , DB2 , CICS , VSAM , REXX , API) , SQL
• Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and Dev-Ops
• Proven good communication and presentation skills
• Proven solid problem solving, analytical skills, Good communication and presentation skills
