Cloud Infrastructure (6 months contract) @ @ RIG Enterprise

Job Description

* Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies
* Strong automation skills, preferably with SaltStack and related technologies (Python, Terraform etc.)
* In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
* Experience provisioning environments in both public and private clouds - AWS, Azure, and VMware (Including VMware Cloud in AWS preferred)
* Strong understanding of Windows domain services (including Active Directory, DNS etc) and LDAP technologies as well as other IAM best practices
* Strong understanding of cloud architecture processes and designs
* Strong understanding of ITILv3 processes

Required Candidate profile

* Architecting the deployment of Windows and Linux environments in AWS, Azure and VMware (including VMware Cloud)
* Design Operating systems (Red Hat Linux and Windows) deployments and automation
* Work as part of a small architecture group within Infrastructure to review existing design and operation methodologies and take them and evolve them into a modern and sustainable architecture with full automation
* Cross train other Infrastructure and Cloud teams on the new architecture and automation to hand off the daily operations of the infrastructure and tooling
* Integrate to our automation team to work the automation projects that are identified with their agile methodologies
* Work to assess the daily operations of the infrastructure teams and look for opportunities to automate repetative processes
* Work on automating the daily operations including maintenance, provisioning, decommissioning etc * Work on maintaining an Infrastructure CMDB in our ServiceNow system
