Job Description
- Operate as a first line of defense on all operational aspects of the business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze lending processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimize lending operations.
- Provide recommendations for process enhancements and workflow automation to minimize errors and increase productivity.
- Maintain effective communication with operational teams, compliance, and management on findings and implementing corrective actions
- Conduct thorough reviews of loan documentation, applications, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform audits on loan files to verify data integrity, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and deficiencies in lending operations and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement industry best practices in process design, monitoring and reporting
Do you have the right ingredients
- 7-8 years of experience in a data and/or process centric role preferably in a financial product like lending
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Comfortable working in SQL/Snowflake/Excel/G-Suite
- Passionate about building robust and scalable processes and automation
- Strong understanding of lending processes, loan documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and discrepancies.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts.
