Position: DDF Support Specialist

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Chennai

Primary Skills: Unibasic, SB+

Job Summary:

Provide frontline and advanced application support for the enterprise Infinitt PACS and related imaging ecosystem. Responsibilities include incident triage, user enablement, basic configuration changes, workflow troubleshooting, monitoring DICOM/HL7 message flows, and coordinating with administrators, radiology staff, networking/storage teams, and vendors to ensure high availability and timely image/result delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain UniBasic programs, subroutines, screens, and reports
• Manage dictionaries/VOC; optimize hashed files and reporting
• Implement and support integrations (CSV/HL7/EDI/REST/SOAP) with data integrity
• Provide L2/L3 production support, RCA, and preventive actions
• Plan and execute UniVerse/UniData/D3 upgrades/migrations, environment refreshes
• Follow change control, peer reviews; maintain specs/SOPs/runbooks
• Estimation, tracking, status reporting; collaborate on QA/UAT and releases
• Knowledge transfer; admin/user guides; hypercare after releases

Skills (Must Have):

• Unix/Unibasic, SB+
• 5+ years of UniBasic programming (UniVerse/UniData/D3/BASIS)
• Multivalued DB concepts (hashed files, dictionaries, VOC)
• Pick OS/TCL, PROCs/paragraphs, cataloguing, error handling
• Debugging & performance tuning; optimizing file I/O
• Interfaces (flat files/CSV, ODBC/.NET clients, REST/SOAP via middleware)
• Git, Jira, SDLC discipline, documentation
