Job Description
Job Title: Software Test Engineer - L2 (Functional)
Experience Required: 2-4 Years
Location: Ahmedabad
Responsibilities:
- Understanding client requirements & functional specifications
- Carry out testing as per the defined procedures.
- Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
- Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members
- Must be agile in testing approach and ready to take up new challenges
- Sound knowledge about Bug logging related aspects
- Develop performance scripts and respective configurations
- Working closely with engineering team to get things done
Skills Required (Primary)
- Good understanding of Load testing concepts and workflows.
- Should have knowledge about JMeter and/or other Load and Performance tools
- Good knowledge about Load generating and performance monitoring tools
- Ability to work with the team of QA analysts and software developers to find out solutions
- Responsible for ensuring end-to-end testing methodology including all appropriate documentation and requirements.
- Ensures test results are accurate, thorough and appropriately documented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Skills Required (Secondary):
- Good organizational and problem understanding skills
- Exposure to any alternate testing method/type
- Able to express work fluently and convince stakeholders
