Job Title: Lead Data Engineer AWS | Python | Spark | Databricks
Location: Pune (Hybrid/Onsite)
Experience: 9 15 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days (preferred)
CTC: Up to 36 LPA
About the Role
Were urgently hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. You will design, automate, and optimize data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem. This is a critical, fast-moving role with plenty of opportunity to influence architecture and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, AWS Glue, Redshift.
- Automate data flows and integrations using AWS Lambda and other serverless services.
- Develop scalable and secure data architectures on AWS.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data solutions.
- Ensure data pipelines can handle large-scale datasets (Big Data) with high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices (Git-based workflows).
Required Skills
- 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong programming in Python (3+ years) and SQL (3+ years).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3.
- Experience with Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- Understanding of scalable data architectures and distributed data processing.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with PySpark / Big Data environments.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- AWS Certifications (Data Analytics / Solutions Architect).
