Job Description
- Role Overview: As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers while acting as an advocate for their needs. You will be responsible for addressing post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic communication channels. Additionally, you will handle technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle's Electronic Support Services. Serving as a key point of contact for customers, your role involves fostering customer relationships with Support, offering guidance and support to internal Oracle employees on various customer scenarios and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities: - Engage regularly with the customer's IT staff, either on-site or remotely to resolve moderately complex technical issues concerning the installation, maintenance, usage, and troubleshooting of Oracle products. - Work independently with general guidance from management, providing updates on progress and status. - Demonstrate proficiency in key areas such as AWE, BI Publisher reports, Component Interface, Application Engine, and Application Designer for PeopleSoft HRMS. - Develop Design Documents, Technical Design Documents, and create Custom Bolt-On modules within PeopleSoft HRMS. - Interact with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience preferred. - Minimum of five years of related experience. - Proficiency in Oracle's core products, applications, and tools is essential for this role. - 6-10 years of experience in implementation projects with expertise in PeopleSoft HRMS. - Hands-on experience with at least two upgrade projects and familiarity with the latest release of PeopleSoft tools and application versions. - Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
