Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and test prototypes for new products and components.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
- Conduct simulations and stress analyses to validate design integrity with SolidWorks simulation module.
- Maintain and update design documentation and standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Domain skills:
- Mechanical background, preferably in Tube mill design & manufacturing or special purpose machines, but not limited or required.
- Experienced in sheet metal design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to translate concepts into detailed designs and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years as a Design Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks & limited simulation knowledge is sufficient
