Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Java Developer with over 5+ years of professional experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Java technologies, a deep understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), and proven experience working in Agile environments. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of robust and scalable Java-based applications.
- Champion Test-Driven Development by writing and maintaining unit and integration tests before implementing code.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Own and drive critical modules and mentor junior developers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Ensure high code quality through continuous integration, code reviews, and static code analysis.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement fixes and enhancements.
- Guide best practices for testing, automation, and CI/CD.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Java-based applications.
- Champion TDD practices by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests before development.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Strong command over Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, TestNG .
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based development environments.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API design.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong experience with TDD using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in Git, Maven/Gradle, and build automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
