Job Description

• Responsibilities:Good familiarization with cloud systems
• AWS would be preferred
• Good understanding of Linux systems and their operations for web hosting, e-commerce, DB hosting, docker and Vms
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline of Jenkins for zero downtime deploymentGood Understanding of version control system like GithubGood understanding of web server deployments from DNS to the actual deployments Basic scripting knowledge on Linux
• Basic understanding of the deployments of MySQL, PostgreSQL and other servers
• Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and the associated tool set
• General understanding of web server deployment troubleshooting
• General understanding of reading and using the log files and monitoring systems

Required Skills:

• Excellent Linux system administrationAbove average on AWS or GCP or AzureAverage on DB system management
• Good in Shell scriptingGood in Scripting in either of these Python/ JavaScript/ Powershell/ RubyExperience in Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in Jenkins CI/CDExperience in Github VCSGood in Cloud securityDevOps Exposure to Magento or RoR is preferredExcellent oral and written communicationSome cloud certification would be an added advantage
• Having team management experience would be desirableTeam playerPerson should be willing to work from a client location as and when needed
