Locations: Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Jaipur, Bhopal, Pune (Hybrid 3 days/week in office)

About the Role
Xebia is hiring a passionate API & Services Engineer who thrives on building scalable backend systems, loves clean code, and enjoys solving complex challenges in cloud environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, using modern tools and frameworks to design, develop, and deploy high-performance APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask
- Design scalable schema and manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Deploy and manage cloud services on Azure or GCP
- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Write unit and integration tests (using Pytest or equivalent)
- Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes and Helm
- Collaborate with React.js frontend teams for seamless API integrations
Must-Have Skills
- Python (FastAPI or Flask)
- SQL Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Cloud Platforms (Azure or GCP)
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Unit Testing (Pytest or equivalent)
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Good-to-Have Skills
- Frontend knowledge (React.js)
- API security best practices
- Microservices performance tuning & observability
