Job Description
Project description A large Australian financial institution has engaged us to provide Quality Engineers with strong Payments Domain knowledge for their Digital Transformation. You will collaborate with a team of developers and closely work with onshore Luxoft and bank employees, focusing on ensuring seamless digital transformation in the payments domain. Responsibilities Act as a Quality Engineer (QE) within a delivery squad following the Scrum model and Agile delivery governance. Own the quality assessments of deliverables/user stories within the squad and across squads. Automate complex user stories as part of the sprint and build a robust Automation Test Suite. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects. Prepare and maintain key test documentation, including RTM, Test Plan, Test Strategy, and Test Cases. Test complex scenarios across UI and API layers, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Participate in reviews where required, collaborating closely with developers and product owners. Ensure high product/software quality for banking services that serve large number of customers daily. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive quality engineering initiatives. Skills Must have Degree or tertiary qualification in Technology. 5+ years of quality engineering experience and a strong Software Testing mindset. Strong knowledge of ISO XML20022 and SWIFT messaging standards. Hands-on experience with RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, and domestic payment systems. Deep understanding of NPP payment flows, message formats, settlement, and exception processes. Familiarity with banking operations, clearing systems, and fund transfer mechanisms. Proficiency in requirement documentation and stakeholder communication. Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with practical exposure to Agile practices. Ability to design and manage product strategy and roadmaps. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to have Knowledge of UI Automation. Knowledge and Experience in Australian Payment Domain is preferred. Location - Pune,Mumbai,Chennai,BanagaloreJob Classification
