Job Opportunity Data Modeler | Forecasting & Prediction
Location: Bangalore (Whitefield) | Hybrid (3 days office/week)
Experience: 6+ years
Notice Period: Immediate to 2 weeks only apply if you can join early
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop logical and physical data models for forecasting and prediction use cases.
- Work with large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Optimize models for performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
- Document data definitions, structures, and design decisions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in data modeling (dimensional, relational, semantic).
- Proven track record in solving forecasting & prediction problems.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R.
- Hands-on with modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
- Familiarity with statistical / machine learning models.
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Retail, supply chain, or demand forecasting domain knowledge.
- Understanding of data governance & best practices in data architecture.
