For one of our clients in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for a .NET developer. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web and service-based applications using .NET / .NET Core and C#.
Build and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API for data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
Use Entity Framework for database access and implement business logic based on project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Java, Mainframe, and Cloud developers, to integrate components into larger enterprise systems.
Work with SQL Server for database design, queries, and performance optimization.
Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or jQuery when required.
Use AWS developer tools for source control, build automation, and deployment pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Document system changes, development processes, and technical specifications.
Support legacy .NET applications while contributing to modernization or migration efforts, possibly involving cloud or serverless architecture. Skills Must have
.NET / .NET CoreProficient in developing applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core for both web and backend services.
C#Strong command of C# for building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
ASP.NET MVC / Web APIExperience in designing and building RESTful APIs and MVC-based web applications.
Entity FrameworkSkilled in using Entity Framework (EF / EF Core) for database access and ORM capabilities.
SQL ServerSolid experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases.
AWS Exposure to AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) is a plus, especially for cloud-based or hybrid architectures. Nice to have
5 years experience in General Insurance or Personal/Commercial Insurance projects Location - Pune,Mumbai,Chennai,Banagalore
