Position/ Job Title: Team Lead/ SME (Legal Copy Editing)


Job Location: Chennai / Noida/ Mumbai/ Puducherry WFO / Hybrid (3 days a week)


Job Summary: We are looking for Legal Copyediting Team Lead who oversees a team of Legal copy editors, ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of legal documents. This role involves not only editing and proofreading but also managing team performance, providing guidance, and maintaining quality standards.


Responsibilities:

Lead quality assurance efforts and train team members on project-related standards and best

practices in the publishing industry

Copyedit and proofread legal documents with a focus on accuracy and compliance with

project specifications

Manage work allocation and oversee QA workflows to ensure timely and quality deliverables

Collaborate across multiple projects within the team, supporting various client requirements

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong editorial judgment, and the ability to manage and

mentor a team effectively.


Qualification

1. Education:

Law Degree (Mandatory)

2. Experience:

Proven experience (5+ years) in Legal Copy Editing

3. Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
