Job Description

As the Business Development Manager, your primary role is to drive revenue growth through acquiring new clients and creating opportunities in loyalty programs, sales promotions, and user incentive programs. This position is focused on B2B marketing sales, and you will be responsible for achieving targets at both an individual level and in alignment with the companys objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Prospect, cold call, and engage in regular interactions to deliver presentations and pitches to top brand managers, marketers, and marketing heads in India, aiming to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a strategy focused on providing gratification solutions through Times Prime Membership, including sales promotions, trade schemes, and loyalty program campaigns. A deep understanding of brands, marketing strategies, BTL/ATL promotions, and loyalty programs is crucial.
  • Engage closely with prospects for large-scale user programs, tailoring approaches to meet specific client needs across various industries.
  • Generate and maintain a robust sales funnel on a weekly and monthly basis by leveraging internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to manage key accounts and oversee ongoing programs effectively.
Minimum Skill required
  • Business acumen with exposure to B2B corporate sales and concept sales, coupled with a strong proficiency in sales and marketing strategies, would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and networks within specific industries or functions.
  • Established connections with Brand and Marketing Managers, as we'll as Decision Makers in sectors such as FMCG, Retail, Telecom, Consumer Durables, and others, will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a solid background in Concept/Solution Sales preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in client acquisition within a business environment.
  • bachelors/masters degree in Marketing or equivalent from a reputable institution.
  • Preference for experience in B2B sales roles or within Reward Loyalty agencies.
