Job Title: Software Engineer / Application Developer / Test Engineer

The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate and driven graduates to join our Software Engineering, Application Development, Data & Analytics, and Testing teams as Trainee Software Engineers. This is a unique opportunity to launch your career in software development and testing, working on world-class healthcare applications that impact millions of lives.

You will be part of a dynamic Agile team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions across multiple platforms. Through structured training and hands-on experience, you will gain exposure to full-stack development, cloud technologies, data analytics, and modern software engineering practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding product managers, architects, and business stakeholdersto deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure technology solutions.

Training & Development

As part of our Graduate Program, you will receive structured training in one or more technology streams based on business needs. These may include:

  • Digital Technologies including mobile applications and cloud platforms
  • Full-Stack Development
  • Data Analytics
  • Automation Testing

You will be required to clear a post-training assessment before being deployed to high-performance Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives
  • Learn and apply software development, testing, and data analytics principles through structured training and mentorship
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
  • Understand software requirements and create test scenarios and execution plans
  • Execute manual test cases, report defects, and support functional, regression, and system testing
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines and investigate data quality issues
  • Build dashboards and reports to support business KPIs and insights
  • Document technical designs, data flows, testing outcomes, and user guides
  • Contribute to code reviews, quality improvements, and automation initiatives
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and engage in continuous learning

Required Skills

  • Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Good communication skillsboth written and verbal
  • Passion for software development, data, or quality engineering
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
  • Basic understanding of programming and/or testing concepts (academic or self-learned)
  • Familiarity with web technologies, databases, or data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Excellent academic credentials with a strong track record in programming, analytics, or software engineering courses
  • Working knowledge of one or more programming languages: JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, SQL, React Native, ReactJS, NodeJS
  • Exposure to test automation tools and practices
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, HL7) is a plus
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Participation in coding bootcamps, online courses, tech communities, hackathons, or open-source projects
  • Exposure to software testing tools or online testing certifications
