Interior Trims- Door Panel Engineer @ Hinduja Tech

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive interior trims expertise in door panels
• Create and release CAD models and detailed drawings using tools such as CATIA V5 or similar software.
• Modify designs based on engineering or manufacturing feedback, ensuring fit, finish, and compliance with vehicle requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and production parts.
• Conduct feasibility studies, participate in DFMEA, and support validation activities for interior components.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 610 years experience in automotive domain, specifically in interior or door panel design.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 or comparable 3D and 2D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of automotive plastics, trims, materials, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, compression molding, extrusion).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
