Job Title: Engineer Wiper system
Responsibilities:
Design and develop wiper and washer systems, including motors, linkages, arms, blades, pumps, nozzles, and reservoirs.
Wiper system component packaging.
Wiper zone calculation as per regulation requirements.
Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using software like CATIA.
Conduct feasibility studies and perform design analysis to ensure optimal performance and manufacturability.
Work with suppliers to select and validate components and materials.
Good understudying about DVP, DFMEA.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations (e.g., Finite Element Analysis - FEA) to validate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stylists, packaging engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing.
Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
Document design specifications, technical reports, and validation results.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory standards (e.g., AIS 019, ECE R16).
Technical Competencies:
Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5/V6).
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
Kinematics linkage calculations.
Experience with FEA and other simulation tools.
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and processes.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
