Job Description
- Role Overview: As an Executive Chef specializing in Modern Pan Asian cuisine in Chandigarh, your primary role will involve creating innovative dishes, managing kitchen staff, overseeing food preparation, ensuring meal quality, and upholding food safety and sanitation standards. You will collaborate with restaurant management, handle menu planning and inventory control, and provide guidance and training to junior chefs. Additionally, you may be required to travel across India to support other locations within the chain. Key Responsibilities: - Create innovative dishes in Modern Pan Asian cuisine - Manage kitchen staff and oversee food preparation - Ensure meal quality and uphold food safety and sanitation standards - Collaborate with restaurant management and handle menu planning - Control inventory and provide guidance and training to junior chefs - Travel across India to support other locations within the chain Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar capacity, specifically in Modern Pan Asian cuisine - Expertise in culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices - Proficiency in kitchen staff management, menu planning, and inventory control - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to innovate and develop new recipes - Flexibility to travel extensively across India - Relevant culinary degree or equivalent certification would be advantageous,
