- Position Name:- Compliance Engineer
- Experience: 6 8 Years
- Mandatory Skills
- Extensive experience in performance of EMI/EMC analyses and testing - Must be familiar with Automotive EMC/EMI test standards, requirements, test methods and setup/performance of testing.
- Experience in digital, Analog circuit design and schematic capture
- Understanding of the PCB layout process and tools.
- Proficiency with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Hands on with lab equipment's (network analysers, spectrum analysers, Oscillators, signal generators, and EMC chambers.)
- Hands on of RF and EMC standards (FCC, CISPR-25, ECE- R10, AIS-004, IEC, EN).
- Manage and ensure traceability between Product SW requirements and SW validation tests and tests scripts (100% coverage required)
- Proficiency in EMC documentation like test plans, procedures, reports, and certificates.
- Must be able to work independently or in teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Additional Skills
- Sound problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge in ECUs driving brushed DC motors.
- Strong Knowledge of Passenger vehicle EE architecture.
- Responsibilities
- Collaborated with design engineers, project managers, and regulatory agencies to implement EMC/EMI requirements.
- Review electronic component datasheet and application notes for the development of EMC protection schemes
- Analyze schematics and circuit board layout for adherence to EMC design practices and guidelines
- Formulate system and circuit board level EMC protection (filtering, shielding, etc)
- Involve in design calculations, Conduct Design reviews to ensure that electronic devices and systems are designed for EMI and EMC compliance
- Interpreted EMC standards and regulations to develop test plans and procedures for compliance testing.
- Conduct EMC testing (Pre-Dv, DV and PV) and analysis on electronic products and systems to assess electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility.
- Analyse test results, identified EMC issues, and recommended design modifications and mitigation strategies to achieve compliance.
- Provided technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams on EMC design principles, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Negotiate with customer for EMC/EMI deviations where it is relevant/applicable.
