Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Prompt Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and fine-tuning effective prompts for large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI tools. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore the capabilities of AI in solving real-world problems across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and iterate high-performing prompts for language and multimodal AI models.
- Work with data scientists and ML engineers to optimize prompt-based outputs and performance.
- Analyze and document the effectiveness of various prompt strategies across use cases.
- Build and maintain prompt libraries and reusable templates for internal and client projects.
- Stay updated with the latest in GenAI, NLP, and LLMs to continuously improve prompt quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a software development, AI, or data science-related role.
- Basic understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and platforms such as:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- Claude.ai (Anthropic)
- Perplexity.ai
- Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar frameworks
- Curious mindset with a passion for AI-driven innovation and creativity.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python and using APIs to integrate AI tools.
- Exposure to vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) or prompt orchestration frameworks.
- Portfolio of prompt engineering projects, notebooks, or use cases (GitHub, Colab, etc.).
- Knowledge of prompt tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or LLMOps workflows.
