Ensure conformity with house style or publisher-specific guidelines (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, AMA, OXCOLA

Apply different editorial styles and tone suitable for humanities or STM texts.)

Flag ambiguous content or inconsistencies for author or editor clarification.

Use editing tools and markup systems (e.g., Track Changes in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat annotations).

Collaborate with project managers, typesetters, and quality control teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency..
