Essential Functions:As a Software Test Engineer - Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Be a Quality Engineering SME for Professional Services team to bring in best quality engineering practices.
- Understand complex software system architecture and strategize, design, develop and execute tests to reveal problems
- Design and implement reusable automated test frameworks to drive test automation goals and to support continuous integration and regression testing. Utilize and extend existing test automation test harnesses.
- Report meaningful results with robust first level analysis of issues
- Partner with technical teams to facilitate troubleshooting of issues
- Integrate automated acceptance tests as part of the Agile SDLC
- Work with the team to increase the test coverage using various tools
- Interface with Product Management, Project Management, Software Development, and Quality Engineers to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered which meets or exceeds all published guidelines
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability, automation, and tools
- Ability to challenge the status quo that leads to continuous implementations of innovations and efficiencies that have make an impact across the entire product line
- Leverage on new technologies to build the next generation Test automation solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Basic Qualifications:12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 12+ years of SDET Experience or a Masters with 10+ years of SDET experience testing highly distributed and complex systems.QA Experience in Payment domain is a plus.Hands-on Java programming, Automation Scripting, testing experience in JAVA & TestNG.Experience with Selenium or similar software testing framework.Experience in building framework and executing automated and performance tests for REST based services.Experience with Agile Methodologies, Tools (JIRA, Confluence).Hands-on experience working with databases Oracle & MySQL.Experience testing software at API level using SOA suite, SOAP UI, PostMan, REST Client etc.Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins or monitoring tools.Familiarity with Code Quality Governance related tools.Hands-on experience with Eclipse or any other IDE development tools.Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git.Have demonstrable experience in leading testing effort on large-scale software projectBusiness knowledge of VISA Authorization, E2E and Clearing and Settlement process is a big plus.The ideal candidate for this position will have more than 8+ years of experience in testing highly distributed and complex systems, with an ability to think tactically as well as strategically while leading cross functional teams in a highly matrixed environment. A background working in a high transaction online payment environment, developer portals/services or APIs is highly desirable.You are an expert in proposing solutions for building world class Test Automation solutions which includes Development, monitoring, troubleshooting, triaging.Mentor rest of the team members to groom them as best in class developersAdvocate to rest of the teams to best engineering practices to delivery with highest quality possible, with top velocity.We count on your curiosity and creativity, to want to understand customer requirements and our processes and want to come up with creative solutionsWhile you ll have the skill to see and understand the big picture, you re able to stay focused on the task at hand to achieve immediate goalsYou re great at systematic and accurate research wanting to uncover the smallest detailYou have amazing work ethics that will help us all work extremely well togetherYou have proven experience as a technical leader with ability to understand the requirement and architect, design and build the automation solution.
