About the Role
Job Description
Objective: Working closely within a data-focused team, this role is primarily responsible for designing, testing, and executing data migration scripts to migrate data from legacy applications and databases into new enterprise applications.
Part of this function involves ensuring as part of the data migration that data quality, integrity, and completeness are maintained or improved and that duplicate entities are identified and removed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Extract data from legacy enterprise systems and databases.
- Run and test extracted data according to the technical specifications from the front-end application.
- Extract the data from the back-end databases using SQL Scripts and designing the reports.
- Resolve technical issues with conversion.
- Provide support and communication via email, phone, and in person.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
- Ensure ETL processes comply with data governance and security policies.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data extraction and transformation
- Ensure that any service disruptions are reported immediately and summarized weekly to the corresponding team lead.
Qualifications
Experience 1 to 3 Yrs
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
