Test Engineer
Position Summary: As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for requirement analysis, test case design, manual testing, and automation script preparation. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest degree of quality for all deliverables by independently testing or preparing automated test scripts and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance product reliability and performance. You will provide estimations for analysis, design, and testing activities, refine requirements with Business Analysts, and apply innovative testing concepts to improve coverage and reliability. Additionally, you will conduct peer reviews, mentor team members, and offer L3 support for production issues, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement within the development lifecycle

Role Overview
Were seeking a Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and Postman, and a solid understanding of microservices architecture. Familiarity with .NET/C# is highly desired, as many of our services are built on this stack. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing automated test suites that ensure our applications are reliable, performant, and secure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright (preferably with TypeScript or JavaScript)
- Create and manage API test suites using Postman, including test scripting and environment configuration
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to test microservices across distributed systems
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Write reusable, maintainable test code and contribute to shared testing frameworks
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and QA strategy discussions
- Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation or software QA
- Strong experience with Playwright for browser automation
- Proficiency with Postman for API testing and scripting
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems testing
- Familiarity with .NET/C# and ability to read or write test code in this language
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Solid grasp of testing principles, debugging, and test data management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
- Knowledge of contract testing frameworks (e.g., Pact)
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
- CI/CD and DevOps: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including the integration of automated testing within these workflows.
- Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification, demonstrating a solid understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
