Job Description for ABM Post
The Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for managing the sales operations and business development activities in the assigned territory. The ABM leads a team of Medical Representatives (MRs), ensuring achievement of sales targets, implementation of marketing strategies, and effective customer engagement within the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to maximize brand visibility and market share.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and key customer segments.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of Medical Representatives.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support.
- Conduct field visits and joint working with team members to guide and improve performance.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including doctors, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Organize CMEs, doctor meetings, and promotional events in coordination with the marketing team.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Provide timely and actionable market feedback to senior management.
Reporting & Compliance
- Submit accurate and timely reports on sales performance, team activities, and territory coverage.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
Looking for Aspiring, Dynamic leadership candidate who possesses strong analytical and communication skill with ability to drive team through inspiring sales performance.
Gynecology/Gastro & Cardia & Diabetic exposure is mandatory.
Candidate should have first line manager exposure and should have handled MR.
**Ranchi ABM candidate is responsible for Ranchi, Dhanbad & Jamshedpur. Delhi candidate would be responsible for entire Delhi. Ranchi & Delhi candidate should have Cardio & Diabetic exposure (Mandatory).
**Hubli (Gynecology & Gastro) - ABM candidate is responsible for Hubli, Bellary, Davangere & Bijapur.
