Desired Candidate Profile
Client - A Leading Private Sector Bank
Base Location - Hyderabad
Role -
The person will be responsible to manage associates & activities in RISC based server. Oversee design development, installation & maintenance of Unix platforms specifically in Solaris and AIX OS for Bank Data Center. This is key leadership position and will play integral part in Banks core technical team. This role requires strong leadership skills and ability to work with diverse team and should have following key skill sets.
Experience: - Min 6 years of experience in Unix servers, Certification in Solaris / AIX and ITIL will be added advantage
- Proven experience in all phases of Hardware engineering and / or systems engineering, capacity planning;
- Broad experience in Server Infrastructure (Oracle & IBM RISC based server);
- Advanced knowledge of Solaris / AIX Operating System, Virtualization technologies (LDOMS / Zones / Cluster);
- Understanding of various type of tools (Arcos, Service Manager, JIRA, App360);
- Users and Application team assistance and support;
- Planned technical operations coordination and realization;
- Work with the incidents, problems, performance optimizations and applications;
- Manage project plan and Schedule;
- Vendor Management (Coordination with Vendor for Hardware Maintenance, Proactive Replacements, Re-Active Replacements, Firmware Upgrade etc.);
- MIS Reporting (Daily Incident Report, KRI Report, Weekend / Monthly Activity Report etc.);
- Monitoring System Performance of Virtual Memory, Managing Swap Space, Disk utilization and CPU utilization;
- Weekly and periodically changes, implementation and quarterly maintenance activity. (Patch upgradation, Server Reboot, Hardware Replacements etc.);
- Incident and Problem management for RISC servers;
- Must have strong communication skills and desire to work in a fast paced environment;
- Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situation;
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment and act as a self-starter;
- Ability to perform in a highly pressurized and changing work environment;
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours if required.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E., B.Sc, BCA - Computers
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
