Robotics Software Engineer @ Inwinteck

Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced Robotics Software Engineer joining the Autonomy Software team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing core software components that facilitate safe and intelligent robotic behavior in real-world industrial settings. Your role will involve writing production-grade code, having a deep understanding of robotics systems, and collaborating across software and hardware domains to deliver reliable autonomy solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain core modules for navigation, planning, control, and system integration. - Design scalable software interfaces spanning autonomy, perception, and hardware abstraction layers. - Write clean, modular, and efficient code in C++ and Python. - Integrate real-time data from sensors and actuators into the autonomy logic. - Profile, debug, and optimize software for real-time performance and robustness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams during simulation, testing, and field deployments. - Participate actively in architectural reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the autonomy stack. Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in robotics software development. - Strong programming skills in C++ and Python with a solid foundation in software architecture and debugging. - Experience with ROS/ROS2, Linux development, and robotic middleware integration. - Familiarity with localization, mapping, motion planning, state estimation, and control algorithms. - Proficiency in working with robotic simulators (e.g., Gazebo) and visualization tools like RViz and Foxglove. - Thorough understanding of performance, safety, and real-world constraints in robotic system deployments. - Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.,
