Job Description
- As a Software Test Engineer at Ideagen's Product R&D department in Hyderabad, India, you will be an essential part of the Agile development team, ensuring the delivery of SaaS products according to the published roadmap with minimal defects. Your role will involve designing and executing test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining test scripts, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design & execute test cases and scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards and user requirements. - Identify, track, and report defects from both testing and customer viewpoints. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough testing of software products. - Participate in project planning and estimation activities. - Develop & maintain test scripts and data in line with defined processes. - Execute & maintain test automation scripts using the pre-defined framework. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes. - Comprehend requirements, prepare test datasets, and execute test cases. - Participate in team activities such as planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of professional software testing experience. - Experience in automation scripting with Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, or similar tools. - Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail. - Good communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
