Job Description
- As a hands-on QA Specialist at Axi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading manual and automated testing of web applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent. - Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and testing processes. - Building and optimizing automated test scripts and routines. - Collaborating with product, development, and operations teams to embed QA practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle. - Driving quality assurance best practices, including regression suites and CI integration. - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects through remediation and release. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 2-3 years of experience in web application QA, including scripting automation. - A solid understanding of QA processes: test planning, QA metrics, CI/CD pipelines. - A proven ability to build or improve QA processes in dynamic environments. - Experience working in product-based or fast-paced startup settings. - Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and attention to detail. - Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage tight deadlines. - Fluency in English with good communication skills. - Bachelor's or diploma in Science/Technology with good academic standing required. Nice to have skills include: - Experience with JavaScript test automation frameworks. - Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions. - Exposure to cloud-based QA environments.
