Job Description
- Assist in managing inventory of APIs, intermediates, excipients, and packaging materials.
- Ensure materials are received, stored, and issued in compliance with cGMP and company SOPs.
- Monitor material movement (GRN, stock transfer, issuance to production, etc.) in ERP systems.
- Coordinate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance for sampling, clearance, and disposition of materials.
- Maintain real-time and accurate inventory records, and support regular stock reconciliations and audits.
- Monitor storage conditions to ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, and segregation standards.
- Assist in managing manpower, shift planning, and daily operations within the store.
- Ensure timely documentation (e.g., logbooks, stock cards, bin cards, issue slips).
- Support in regulatory audits (GMP, WHO, etc.) and provide necessary documentation.
- Comply with all safety regulations including PPE usage and handling of hazardous materials.
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in pharma/API store operations.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Experience in handling regulated market documentation and audit preparedness.
- Sound knowledge of cGMP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work in a controlled environment with strict SOP adherence.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
