Job Description

As a QA Engineer SDET 2 at CodeChavo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing tests - Performing manual testing - Creating and maintaining test cases - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality To excel in this role, you should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, along with proficiency in Manual Testing and QA Automation. With at least 3 years of experience in automation testing, you will be exposed to both UI and API testing, utilizing your programming skills in Java and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with tools like Playwright and Selenium will be essential for carrying out effective testing procedures. Your expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git-based workflows, and automated deployment pipelines will be instrumental in ensuring efficient testing processes. Additionally, familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA and TestRail will aid in maintaining organized and systematic testing practices. Preferred qualifications for this role include exposure to performance and load testing tools like JMeter, as well as experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber. Knowledge of containerized environments like Docker and an understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices will further enhance your capabilities in this dynamic role at CodeChavo.
