Job Description
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
- Technical and Professional Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PS (Project Systems)
- At least two full-cycle SAP PS implementations
- Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise processes like:
- Engineer to Order (ETO)
- Make to Stock (MTS)
- Make to Order (MTO)
- Capital Projects
- Investment Management
- Proficiency in SAP PS IMG configuration, including:
- Project Profiles
- Network & Activity Profiles
- Cost Planning & Budgeting
- Scheduling, Settlement, and Result Analysis (RA)
- Familiarity with project-related procurement, resource-related billing, and integration with SAP modules such as PP, PM, MM, FICO, SD, and HCM
- Experience in preparing functional specifications, guiding ABAP developments, and coordinating with technical teams
- Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Integration knowledge in:
- PS-MRS, PS-CATS, PS-SRM, PS-PPM, PS-PM
- SAP HANA
- SAP BI / BPC
- Exposure to pricing models, cost planning, STOs, and master data management
- As part of the Infosys consulting team, your key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing client requirements, identifying problem areas, and proposing innovative, value-driven solutions
- Contributing to solution design and proposal documentation
- Planning and executing SAP PS configurations based on defined specifications
- Leading conference room pilots, demos, and PoC workshops
- Estimating efforts and aligning proposals with client budgets and internal financial standards
- Driving end-to-end solution deployment and supporting clients throughout the implementation journey
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact results
- Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization
- Leading small-scale projects and actively participating in unit-level and organizational programs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Understanding of configuration management and emerging technology trends
- Good communication and client engagement skills
- Knowledge of financial project processes and pricing methodologies
- Domain knowledge in one or more industries preferred
- Ability to evaluate current processes and recommend technology-based improvements
