What does a successful Finance Business Analyst do?
At Fiserv, a successful Finance Business Analyst plays a key role in transforming business processes and financial reporting within our Financial Institutional organization. You will leverage advanced financial reporting tools, data visualization software, and large datasets to drive efficiencies, deliver actionable insights, and support large-scale projects. Your contributions will enhance critical financial processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our organizational goals.
What you will do:
- Analyze financial data using tools such as Oracle, SAP, Tableau, and Power BI to generate reports and insights.
- Work with large datasets to provide comprehensive analysis and predictive insights.
- Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to create detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with various business stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, including current state analysis, future state design, and implementation.
- Conduct change management within a large, multinational organization, adapting to a constantly evolving environment.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Business or related fields
- 3+ years of experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- 3+ years of experience working with large datasets.
- 3+ years of experience in advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
What would be great to have:
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement or automation initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in project management methodologies.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
