Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (eg, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar)
- Coordinate with project teams to gather information on scope, timelines, milestones, and resources
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules and update schedules regularly to reflect current status
- Identify potential schedule delays and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present schedule updates and reports to management and clients
- Analyze project timelines to determine critical paths, dependencies, and float times
- Assist in developing recovery plans during schedule slippages or disruptions
- Ensure all scheduling activities are in compliance with contractual obligations and company policies
- Support in resource planning and allocation across multiple projects
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment and transparency
- Proven experience as a scheduler in the construction industry (10+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project lifecycle
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
